Trail Updates

 MILE MARKERS ARE INSTALLED!
June 2005

Media News - This is a trail like no other we have biked. With ample access, one can do a short section, the entire length, or become completely distracted by the tourist communities you travel through. You can spend a few hours, an entire day or, if you are a shopper, antiquer, or one who enjoys sampling food, an entire weekend may not be enough. And as with most trails, each season brings new signs and opportunities.”  Click here to read this article.  Although this article was written before the Trail was finished, it is still an enjoyable read.

Volunteer of the Year -  Ozaukee Interurban Trail Advisory Council member Helen Ward received the Volunteer of the Year Award through The Educational Foundation, Inc. at Ozaukee Bank.  Click here to see Helen receiving this award.  Helen received this award, in part, for her dedicated efforts for the Trail and donated her financial award to the Trail Improvement Project.  Thank you Helen for all that you have done for the Trail!
