10, 2001The Interurban Trail Advisory Council held
its first meeting. Subcommittees were formed to work on
key aspects of the trail including:
- Rules & Ordinance Development
- Public Meetings
- Trailside Facilities
- Web Site
- Public Relations Materials
- Pre-Opening Trail Clean-Up
- Trail Watch Mechanism
- Opening Activities
- Inter-Cooperative Government Relations
The Advisory Council is looking for more county
residents to volunteer for subcommittees. Contact Bridget

The Highway Department has completed some of the
northern end of the trail! If the weather cooperates
during the summer of 2002, the Highway Department feels
that they can complete the work..
It is anticipated that the bridge over the Milwaukee
River in the Town of Grafton will be constructed this
winter. The bridge must be completed by March 10th.
