2002 The Interurban Trail Advisory Council
held its second meeting. Presentations were given by:
Melissa Cook the Regional Trail Manager for the WDNR
Southeast District.
Angie Tornes, a Senior Resource Planner for the
National Park Service– Rivers, Trails and Conservation
Assistance Program
Noel Cutright, Senior WEPCO Ecologist and
Riveredge Nature Center Bird Club organizer
The Opening Activities Committee announced that the
Ozaukee County Justice Center has been chosen as the
center of activities for the September 28, 2002 opening
date for the trail. More details are being developed.
The Advisory Council is in the process of developing a
logo for the trail.
The next Advisory Council meeting will be held at 8:00
AM, Wednesday April 10, 2002 at this same Village of
Grafton Police Department site. |
